The Lasombra as a Clan appear to be super hierarchical and tightly controlled, why are they founders of the Sabbat and not the Camarilla (well in the same way, take away the historical metaplot and then ask me which 2 calns would most likely worship their founder and try to recreate themselves in his image, my answer would be Tzimisce and Lasombra.

The Lasombra are a Clan who are so callous and powerhungry that they would be the most likely to sit back and let the other Clans get wiped out.
